Seasonal Yoga Teacher Training Courses in Hertfordshire
What does Yoga mean to you?
If you’re like most people you probably know about the asanas or postures… perhaps you’ve done a little breathwork or meditation.
But there’s so much more to learn.
Imagine how your knowledge of yoga could grow.
Imagine how much more there is to know.
Imagine how you could share this knowledge to improve the well-being of others.
Imagine being part of a like-minded community of practitioners and teachers.
That’s where the Seasonal Yoga Immersive and Teacher Training course comes in.
Seasonal? Yes – we teach yoga aligned with the energies of the different seasons.
In Tune with natural rhythms.
Informed by the Five Element System.
In Summer your energy is more expansive than in Winter – when you want to hibernate – and we’ll teach you about harmonising your practice with that energy

You could spend years practising yoga in the same style with the same teacher, and that’s OK. It keeps you strong and flexible and maybe reduces your stress.
But what if you decided there may be more to learn, more to experience and you have the passion and determination to follow your dream and dive deep or learn to teach others?
While our course will qualify you as a Yoga Teacher, not everyone who comes on it wants to teach. Some students just want to deepen their own yoga practice and understand more about postures, anatomy, energy and Seasonal living.

Our Yoga Alliance (Int) accredited 200 hr Teacher Training course runs over 12 months with 1 weekend each month.
It’s a long course, yes – but there is a lot to learn, and you need the time between the training sessions to practice, process & absorb what you’ve been learning.

Our course is due to start in October – So if you’re reading this in September there’s little time to join up. You could wait another year and continue to dream…
OR… you could contact Rachel about this exciting opportunity for you to develop!
The next course starts October 2025
Have a look at our YouTube videos to get a feel for what the course is about

The course is designed to help you explore Yoga on and off the mat. We will support the growth of your understanding of the postures, breath and anatomy.
Just as importantly, you will learn more about your mind, impulses, relationships, happiness, through the theory of Yoga and its application in everyday life.
Some of the students we have trained have written about their experiences on the course
“From the moment I saw the Seasonal Yoga course advertised, it resonated deeply. The idea of living in harmony with the seasons felt so natural, and everything else has flowed from that. I will be forever grateful to myself for showing up, to the course itself, to the incredible teachers, and to the beautiful friendships formed along the way .
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

Meet the teachers

Your main teachers for this course are: Rachel Williamson & Melissa Campbell
Rachel started practising yoga as a teenager in the 1970s and she has been successfully teaching yoga in North Herts since around 2008.
Melissa has been teaching yoga since 2017. She is a Certified Women’s Holistic Hormone Health Practitioner, Culinary Nutrition Educator and currently studying for a diploma in Herbal Medicine.
Seasonal Yoga Origins
Seasonal Yoga was created by Fitness guru and Yoga Teacher Julie Hanson and colleague Sue Woodd, an expert in many areas of Eastern practices including Qigong, tai chi and shiatsu. Their approach blends yoga with traditional energy practices from the Taoist 5 Element System, working in harmony with changes in the Seasons.
The Seasonal Yoga School has trained over 2000 yoga teachers worldwide and now for the first time is available in East Anglia. Seasonal Yoga Teacher Training courses go far beyond the Yoga Alliance (International) standard requirements for a 200 hour accredited teacher training course.
The next course starts October 2025

Previous Teacher Training courses
Here’s what students have said about previous Teacher Training courses
“The last 12 months have been an amazing journey and I have grown and developed in more ways than I could have imagined. I can’t possibly explain in a few sentences everything that I have gained. I am not sure if I want to teach, that was never my intention but I it has given me the belief in myself to know that I can, should I choose to.
I can’t thank the course leaders Rachel and Melissa enough, and of course my lovely fellow students. They were all amazing and so supportive, we formed a very special bond. Rachel is a wonderful teacher and assisted by Melissa they really are the perfect combination.”
S.K.– Teacher Training Graduate – Letchworth

“It doesn’t really matter if you ultimately want to teach or not, I would recommend this teacher training to anyone who is looking to learn, grow and explore a way of practicing that aligns to nature and the seasons… it just makes sense and I feel so much more connected to the things that really matter in life. Truly inspiring”
T.P. – Teacher Training Graduate – Letchworth

“Personally, it’s been life-changing…and for someone who is getting on in life, I wish I’d introduced myself to Yoga and experienced the Foundation course and then this SYTT course many years ago!… I’m learning so much from Rachel and Melissa, and my fellow students are a joy to spend time with, to learn with and from”
