Seasonal Classes Online...

Rachel runs an 'Online Studio' - a seasonally based video archive. The videos for each season are available to subscribers only.

Seasonal Yang Classes last 60 or 90 mins, Seasonal Yin 75 mins.

The Online Studio

A video archive available season by season.

If you'd like to subscribe, contact Rachel. Subscriptions are on a monthly basis so you can access the videos as many times as you like for a month.

Each season has a menu of between 6 - 10 seasonal yoga practices. It's mainly Yang yoga, but there is usually 1 Yin class and a Yoga Nidra. Class durations are between 60 and 90 minutes.

More recently Rachel has been making a series of Qigong video classes, each around 30 mins duration. These are available separately to the Online Studio subscription

Spring

The Wood element, a time of rising energy and growth. Look ahead and start putting together plans and making decisions! Stretch out of Winter!

Early Summer

Early Summer – Part of the Fire element…getting ready for full on Summer,  like a warm-up lap on a race track. Warming the body, getting out more.

Summer

Summer – the Fire element, a time of the highest expression of Yang energy rising and dispersing. The days are long, the weather is warm and we feel sociable and expressive.

Late Summer

Late Summer – the Earth element, a time of returning to centre after the Yang energy of the Spring and Summer. Time to ground, gathering in and take stock before the cooler months start.

Autumn

Autumn – the Metal element, a time of descending energy. In a process of refinement we hold on to what we find valuable and let go of what is no longer needed.

Winter

Winter – the Water element, the most Yin time of the year. Dark, deep, silent, reflective. Time to gather our energy deep inwards, rest and build energy reserves for the coming year.
