A H I M S A Y O G A
One of the absolute highlights of the last year or so has been the monthly charity fundraising Yin Yoga class on Zoom which I’ve run.
Starting soon after the first lockdown in 2021, I started running this monthly class in order to raise funds for local charities (usually small ones) that might face financial challenges in “normal” times, let alone during a pandemic.
Students attending the class can choose how much to donate, and sometimes donations are sent by others who are not attending the class.
Each month 100% of funds raised go to our nominated charity.
It’s such an uplifting thing to be able to do, that the plan is to continue this as a regular slot in the Ahimsa Yoga calendar. If you’d like to join us, message me for a link.
Below is more information about the charities we have supported so far, and links to their websites or Social Media pages.
