Welcome to Spring video classes
A video archive available season by season.
Spring – the Wood Element.– In the Chinese 5 element system, Spring is associated with the wood element, a period of growth. In nature, plants are starting to re-generate. Bulbs which have been dormant in Winter start to show little shoots. It’s a time of increasing Yang energy, the wood element symbolises strong roots and growing with a strong foundation. The organ pair for Spring are the liver and gall bladder. Watch the ‘Welcome to Spring’ video first for a more in depth explanation.

Each season has a menu of seasonal yoga practices. It’s mainly Yang yoga, but there is usually 1 Yin class, possibly a Yoga Nidra. Class durations vary between 30 and 90 minutes. There are also some shorter Qigong classes.
